Here's how our program can help your clients:

MommaStrong is a value-add to your practice, a way for patients to do (and maybe even enjoy) their exercises at home—consistently.
MommaStrong can help members have more agency over their pain and their body’s function. They will learn about their own anatomy and where to focus their efforts, eventually promoting more self-efficacy.
MommaStrong can help members create a wellness habit. We truly value function over appearance, and want every mom to create the strength & resilience it takes to be a caretaker of tiny humans. Many times that means just showing up even if for just 5 minutes.

MommaStrong provides access to Stephanie Dillon, PT, DPT, WCS. While Stephanie is not providing physical therapy to members, she helps provide input for MommaStrong content, and also supports members who have questions both in our community and directly—via email.

Who is Courtney Wyckoff?

Courtney Wyckoff, CPT, CES, is the founder of MommaStrong and PappaStrong

She is a Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist, with 20 years experience in the field of biomechanics and injury prevention/treatment. She started on her path as a fitness expert after retiring from a career as a professional ballet dancer, driven by a love for human movement and a curiosity about the engineering of the human body. Soon after the birth of her second child, she began suffering from chronic pain due a severe back injury, autoimmune disease, and postpartum depression. These experiences prompted Courtney to develop her own method of physical rehabilitation, one that focused on nurturing agility throughout the lifespan through consistent extension-based exercise. She founded MommaStrong and PappaStrong as ways to share this method in the most accessible way. Her work has been featured in Shape magazine, NPR, Parents magazine, and are vetted by leading physical therapists in this field.

Stephanie Dillon joined the MommaStrong team in March 2020 as their Physical Therapist (PT) Advisor. She has been a PT since 2007, and holds a board certification in pelvic/women’s health physical therapy. Additionally, she has a strong background in orthopedics, having also held an orthopedic board certification for 10 years. She is passionate about helping everyone, regardless of age or gender identity, learn how to improve their own pelvic floor & pelvic health-related issues. She also enjoys teaching and mentoring other PTs about how to treat patients with pelvic health conditions. She is the mother of two young children, who somehow simultaneously make her crazy and also fill her life with joy. When she is not doing MommaStrong exercises, she enjoys hiking, yoga, and traveling.

Jya Plavin joined MommaStrong in March 2020 as Director of Impact and Community Engagement, and is MommaStrong’s Lead Certified Trainer. Jya holds a Master’s degree in Public Health, and is a Certified Personal Trainer and Pre- and Postnatal coach. She brings over a decade of experience working as a public health practitioner and educator, focused on understanding behavior change within the complexity of our real lives, communities, and the broader health environment. After a difficult transition to motherhood led her to the transformative magic of MommaStrong, Jya became passionate about maternal health justice and supporting people who give birth through accessible, evidence-based fitness and wellness guidance. She is thrilled to be part of the team.
